KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. — Kendal Corp., a nonprofit owner-operator based in Kennett Square, has hired Lisa Holloway as vice president of health services.
Holloway will work in collaboration with health services administrators, directors of nursing and compliance liaisons at each Kendal community to ensure consistancy.
Holloway has more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare administrator with both nonprofit continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and nursing homes. In 2004, she joined Covenant Retirement Community of Cromwell (a nonprofit CCRC in suburban Hartford, Connecticut) as administrator of healthcare operations.
Most recently, Holloway has served as vice president and administrator of health services at Duncaster, a nonprofit CCRC in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Situated on an 87-acre campus, that community includes 200 independent living apartments, 48 assisted living apartments (including 24 memory care residences) and a 60-bed short- and long-term skilled nursing area. U.S. News and World Report has recognized Duncaster’s skilled nursing area as one of the Top Nursing Homes in America. Holloway also served as Duncaster’s corporate compliance officer.
Holloway has three master’s degrees — one in social work from the University of Connecticut, one in management and another in business administration from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut.
