ORLANDO, Fla. — ROC Seniors Housing Fund Manager LLC, an Orlando-based investor, has purchased a six-community seniors housing portfolio totaling 596 units in three states and the District of Columbia for an undisclosed price.
Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. (HFF) marketed the portfolio on behalf of the seller, a joint venture between The Carlyle Group and Capitol Seniors Housing.
The portfolio features 114 independent living, 329 assisted living, 136 memory care and 17 skilled nursing units.
The properties in the portfolio are: Crown Cove in Corona Del Mar, Calif.; Raincross at Riverside in Riverside, Calif.; Whittier Place in Whittier, Calif.; Regent Street of West Bloomfield in West Bloomfield, Mich.; Arbor Terrace at Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia; and The Residences at Thomas Circle in Washington, D.C. The portfolio was 89.1 percent leased at the time of sale.
Managing directors Ryan Maconachy and Chad Lavender along with senior managing director Gerry Rohm led the HFF investment sales team.
