CANTON and JASPER, Ga. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage (SLIB) has arranged the sale of Windsor House Assisted Living in Canton and Windsor Lodge in Jasper for an undisclosed price.
The two properties total 115 units and are located approximately 20 miles apart from each other in the North Georgia Mountains. Windsor Lodge opened in September 2018, while Windsor House completed an expansion the same yeaer.
The seller is a local owner-operator divesting the assets to exit the seniors housing industry. The buyer is a partnership between regional operator Phoenix Senior Living and a New York-based capital provider White Oak Healthcare.
Following the sale, Phoenix announced it will rebrand the two communities as The Retreat at Canton and The Retreat at Jasper. Capital One was the lending partner for the buyers.
